What’s the plot?
1015 Copenhagen K shows the enormous challenges facing Mary Donaldson, the estate agent from Hobart, Tasmania, who, one day, will be Queen of Denmark. On the surface, her marriage, to Denmark’s Crown Prince Frederik, appears to be the ultimate dream. But, as 1015 reveals, Frederik is an emotional cripple with little self-confidence. He’s the Prince who does not want to be King. Surrounded by stuffy courtiers, bad advisors, and a dysfunctional set of in-laws, Mary has to make a King out of her husband, otherwise the world’s oldest monarchy is in danger of collapse. Trine Villemann has got under the skin of the Danish Royal Family like never before and reveals them to be a clan of highly flawed personalities. The role of Crown Princess Mary could not be more critical. Is she up to the task?

“Trine Villemann has brilliantly and vividly dissected the Danish Royal Family. She should be let loose on the British Royal Family.”
PAUL REYNOLDS, FORMER BBC ROYAL CORRESPONDENT.
